Our clothing isn't adjusted to fit plus size bodies, it is intentionally crafted for all bodies in all their seasons of life.

Lindsay designs knowing Lost in Layers garments will make women of any age, stage, shape and style feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. The goal is to use high quality fabrics with a strict attention to every detail to create pieces in your wardrobe to last as staples through the seasons of the year and seasons of your life.
About our founder
Lost in Layers began in 2015 when our founder and designer Lindsay, was at a loss for new trends and good quality fashion while living in a more isolated city. She designed a version of what the signature shawl is today. It quickly progressed from offering chiffon shawls to family and friends to selling at markets, online and in retail locations! She was able to employ women and mothers who sewed at home to support production and in 2019 she began designing garments and manufacturing locally in Calgary.
Finding myself in motherhood
As a mother of two young boys, I knew the impact pregnancy, age and lifestyle can have on our bodies and ever changing shapes. My goal first and foremost, is to encourage women to feel great about themselves.
I design knowing Lost in Layers garments will make women of any age, stage, shape and style feel comfortable, confident and beautiful.
When I found myself in Lost in Layers, my life was forever changed again. I've found so much purpose and happiness in building Lost in Layers and connecting with the amazing women I have worked with over the years!
